We want to see:
Our Hospital retain it's Maternity and Special Baby Unit.
Eastbourne remain the attractive Town it is.
Strong enforcement and policing.
Good education for all our children
Respect for others return to our way of life.
More Re-cycling, especially plastic and cardboard from the gate.

We enjoy the role of representing the residents of Ratton and hope that you can find you way clear to support us in keeping Eastbourne the wonderful Town that it is.

Nancy Dalton 332 votes Green Party.
I work in the public sector.
As a Green Party Candidate and a mother I am concerned about the world my children and everything else's will inherit. I want a world with a future in which everyone has value irrespective of where they had the good or bad to be born. I believe that here in Eastbourne we need to pay our part in ensuring our planet has a future by combating global warming and working for fairness.
In particular I want to have a bus service, which meets the needs of local people and the many tourists who visit out town, I am tired of seeing empty buses, which have priced their customers back into their cars. I believe that any parking scheme needs to serve the town before providing profit to the company that gets the contract.
I am not a Freemason and I believe that every candidate and Councillor should declare membership just like any other interest they might have.

As a builder and a ratepayer I am concerned about the over development of Eastbourne to the detriment of our environment. We have seen the Crumbles providing short tem profit to the developers and little benefit to either the purchasers or the wider community.
We need fairness and we need to ensure that all developments are in keeping with the area and ensure that developers provide adequate services commensurate with the profits they make. We also need to ensure that affordable housing is an integral part of any sizeable development, perhaps as few as five housing units. Where will the low paid live if this fails to be met? Those who make the profit need to take their share of the civic responsibility and the council should allow this duty to be abrogated.
I am not a Freemason.

3) Total review of Council's recycling policy.
4) Through my extensive Production experience I promise a new approach to attract manufacturing operations to Eastbourne.
5) Review of Ratton bus services which many residents have identified as inadequate.
